HYDE plays muse to legendary artist Yoshitaka Amano to produce “Yoshitaka Amano × HYDE ten – Tenmei to Haitoku – NIPPON EVOLUTION”, a special art exhibition happening August 9-31, 2013 at Laforet Museum in Harajuku. Said event will showcase Yoshitaka Amano’s illustrations which are inspired by HYDE. Samples can already be seen at its OHP.
Tickets are now available online via the eplus website. Those who purchase tickets in advance would get a special trading card on a first come first served basis. There are 5 designs available, each corresponding to a weekday.

Yoshitaka Amano is best known for his work on Final Fantasy as its main character, image, and graphic designer. He is also the creator of iconic characters Gatchaman, Tekkaman: The Space Knight, Hutch the Honeybee and Casshan.
In 1999, he teamed up with Neil Gaiman to create The Sandman: The Dream Hunters which was nominated for a Hugo Award for Best Related Book and won the Bram Stoker Award for Best Illustrated Narrative.
